adjusters are able to have real time access to the on-going
medical management of a Workers' Compensation file
and can track step-by-step case progress for services such
as Nurse Medical Case Management, Case Status, Provider
Billing and status of IMEs. Nurses and adjusters
communicate in real-time, on-line, via MEDLOGIX® bulletin
board messaging system. |

Alerts are automatically created when there
is a change in work status, compensability, etc. Each adjuster
is given an on-line login and password to access the software.
Case-specific alerts and important information about
a claim appear when logged in so both the adjuster and case
manager are aware of each other’s activities on the
file. |
